International Musician Association Singapore (IMASG)
IMASG is a non-profit organisation registered with the Registry of Societies (ROS), Singapore since 2016.
The committee was set up by a team of music artists including the first-generation Chinese pianist Wu Yili, and Steinway Artist Benjamin Loh.
The Association has successfully held the Singapore Golden Lion Awards International Piano Competition and Singapore Golden Lion Awards International Music Arts Festival for three consecutive years.
The fourth Festival, which was originally scheduled to be held in 2020, has been postponed till this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Festival provides an excellent showcase and communication platform for young talents, and has been highly praised by professional institutions, media, and professionals in music and art fields. The Association has established it as an annual professional event, with the aim of providing a high-quality platform for art events.
Purpose
Singapore Golden Lion Awards International Music and Arts Festival aims at promoting exchanges and cooperation in the fields of music, culture and art among Singapore, Southeast Asia and art communities around the world. Our festival recognizes its role in facilitating cultural exchanges, fosters collaboration between local and international artists, as well as cultivates stronger friendships. Through all platforms where musical and artistic excellence is encouraged and celebrated via all forms of music education, performance and experience, we aim to advocate creative expression, cultural appreciation as well as passion and innovation in arts.
Join us on Sunday, November 20th as we officially kick off the 2022 Singapore Golden Lion Awards International Music Arts Festival at the China Cultural Centre. The event will feature a grand opening ceremony, followed by a series of competitions, master classes, orchestra, musicals, and dance over a span of two months. The official closing ceremony is expected to be held on 15 January 2023.
